Worked on a spot for Florida Times Union. We used Softimage 7.01 with the emFluid3 and emRPC plug-ins for the particles. I was responsible for the particle simulations and renders. See the spot on vimeo:
An artist friendly constraint work flow plug-in. This plug-in consists of 3 commands which allow the animator / user to pickup objects, put them down, and remove a pickup while animating.
The script doesn’t remove the transform keys laid down by the script on the object being picked up to ensure that no animation is lost throughout the pickup process. Simply delete the unwanted keys after you remove the pickup.
Responsible for modeling puzzle pieces, UV mapping of pieces and animation on various shots in the spot.
Modeled EasyMac Cup and animated variations of the cup and text objects.
Rigged and modeled the base Cootie Catcher / Fortune Teller while at SpeakeasyFX.
You can take a look at a little bit of a Cootie Catcher Rig Demo:
WIP Spider Rig to be released as a free rig to Softimage Community.
This is a short film I created while I attended Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario Canada.
I used Softimage XSI 6.5, Maya 2008, Pixologic Zbrush, Adobe After Effects, Adove Premiere, and Adobe Photoshop. I was responsible for all visual elements and animation.
This film won 3rd place in the Siggraph Student Space Time animation competition in 2008.
